NINE Kilos in 10 days (just over a week) .... Estatic and over the moon comes to mind.
The detoxing, watching overs bath in KFC and other yummy foods while I sit eating the same meal and or drinking my shake.. paid off quiet heavily.

Now don't be too alarmed that I have lost SO much in just 10 days... medically its possible at my weight and its fine (I spoke with my surgeon this morning)

So in just 10 days ive lost nearly 30% of the weight needed to operate.. and I have until a few days before Nov 24... This has given me even more motivation.

So as of Sunday I will be starting at the gym.. just a 5km walk a day (I delayed this a bit due to not feeling great with the Detoxing but im building on that now.


I am looking forward to the next weighin already as I stay true to what I have been doing, but know if I can lose 2KG in the next weighin.. ill be happy :)

Onwards and upwards!!!!!!!!!

One week down.. 11 weeks to go !!

I survived a week so far

After what was a very shakey start (really bad stomach upset and cramps) the second half of the week I was able to smash it out of the park. 

I plan this Wednesday on a day off to make a soup full of the vegetables that I can eat (as theres something I cant eat such as pumpkin and potato. 


So.. one week down.. I didn't go the gyn last week, being hungry and then adding gym work just did not seem logical. Starting from Tomorrow (Tuesday) .. I will be heading to the gym for a 5km walk each day to start things off. Am I looking forward to it? No. Will I enjoy it? No... But I do it because it needs to be done.......... but I do know that once I get into it I will start to enjoy it again.

In other news Dr Who was on Sunday.. sat up and watched it... cannot wait for the finale of True Blood when I get home tonight, does not seem like it can all wrap up with one episode left? but time will tell.

I have my first weigh in this Thursday.. and I am hoping with 1 week of detox and hard work (no cheating) that it will show on the scales.. but time will tell.

The gurgle !!!

Well Well Well.........

Well after 3 days... no cheating.. no bending of the rules, I have been on the straight and narrow :D (Only 11 weeks 4 days to go haha)

But today I am getting the full effect of the Detox... My stomach is Gurgling and making funny noises, and for people who have been on shakes before, you know clearly what that translates to. I have been lucky work has been accommodating with health breaks to help me out.

So far I haven't done anything exciting with my diet, I have tried some sugar free snakes and theya re ok.. but need to watch them... Ive been buying turkey and such to have as my main meal (and other lean meats)

Salad broke me tho.. which is kinda odd.... Was eating my salad yesterday and accidentally bit into a fork and broke a filling :( ... $65 later and I have a new filling... but not a great start as yesterday I also had a massive headache all day, stomach ache and issues and just generally not well.

I have set myself a goal to fit into this.. its 3XL.. and I will buy it soon.

I would love in a year or so time to be playing footy... just in a C or D grade league... have some fun with it ... at my ripe old age of (soon to be 29)

Well thats it for me for now... just gurgling along.. trying to be a good boy and stay on the path.

And so it begins!!!

Well here we go!!!!!!


12:22am and This is officially day one of a 12 week diet.
Am I looking forward to it? No
But its much needed... but i am looking forward to getting into a gym routine.. all be it a bit slower then most.

Todays plans is heading to the gym..... before work.... so i expect to be an asshole (even more so then usual) during work "hours"

The thing out of everything im not looking forward to (and its not the fact alot of good food cannot be consumed.. but its the headaches and stuff I am going to get while the initial detox kicks in

but as they say

no pain
no gain

Surgery is booked !!!

November 24 is D-Day



Today I had a chat with Dr Ben Teauge... and as a result, I now have a weightloss goal of 30kg before surgery... thats 12 weeks starting from Monday to lose 30kg... is it possible? hell yea it is...

As of Monday I will start on optifast.. its going to be a long.. hard 12 weeks, but I decided that I need to show discipline and go on optifast for this long (I will have the support of Drs during this time)

I will also be heading to the gym 4 days per week (as well as a bit of swimming at the end) before heading into work (unless I start work at 11)... the next 4 months my "Presence" online and such will be nearly non existent as I spend time focusing on me and my health.

I am looking forward to it as I have done it before on a smaller scale... but i know whats a head and how hard i have to work to get there.. and I say bring it on.

I am looking for someone who might be interested in making meals with me (EG on days we work) as I will be still eating one meal a day plus snacks. So if you like making food... and wanna share in the experience (Take turns) then please inbox me!!!!

There are some complications and I understand that there are risks, but the rewards far outweigh the consequences !!!

Day 1

Well technically day two.. But day one giving up the things I love.... Well mostly
No withdrawals yet lol. 
Not heading to the gym tonight, too damn cold and ill head on Sunday.
From Sunday i plan on going 4 days per week.
2 swimming
2 treadmill

Cooking chicken when I get home tonight, going back to the basics and building from there
